My Acts of Compassion (1)
#108 11 find this inspirational
As a Muslim studying Shria law, I couldn’t imagine that I would live with a Jewish host family in the UK for six weeks, sharing them their daily life and having my meals with them around one table, but I did it.
people in Palestine, you can live together, you can do it, only with compassion !
My Inspiration (6)
#186 We (SARAH) created the Empowerment Pin, which comes the pledge “When I wear this pin, I remember that I am a woman of my community dedicated to creating a safe and harmounios environment with my daily actions” By conforming to all of our highest values we can make our world safe for our children.
#180 I have compassion for people I care about but who have betrayed me in some way. I forgive them even if they remain angry at me. I will let them proceed as they need to, regardless of wherher or not it includes me
#179 We aim to really act with compassion to mother earth who continues to support us despite our constant barrage of assault. Imagining our mother as a gift bearing friend who arrives at our door and instead of snatching her gift, we invite her in, take care of her needs and love her beyond measure. View site »
#173 While walking with my son, he pulls out a small flower he had picked along the side of the path and hands it to me with a smile. Being a parent is full of daily blessings and acts of unselfish kindness!
#165 who (creative person) wants to come along to this art event on the 17th in the evening? http://tinyurl.com/yatgz5t via #compassion View tweet »
#1 Today I unveiled the Charter for Compassion at a press briefing in Washington, DC. I am amazed to see my wish fulfilled and to see compassion return to a prominent place in the global conversation.
