My Inspiration (3)

#135 My friend was a doctor in Zambia working on AIDS.  He came home with an idea:  Link U.S. communities with Zambian caretakers of orphans so the children could go to school.  I joined him and others to form Communities Without Borders. Now we are providing education for more than 1100 children. View site »

#119 I had stage 4 metastatic cancer, and had only a few months to live, if I survived the chemo. So I sold my house to make the transition easier for my kisa, and the new owner, an elderly stranger with her own health problems, made me stay in the house and took care of me while I underwent the chemo.

#100 The train was full of people and no seats. It was 7am and we had 4 more hours of travel. As we were sitted on the floor next to the door, the ticket-woman approached… We were so cold that she gave us permission to seat in the 1st class and also gave us tickets for a warm coffee. THANKS!
