A student I teach has been having problems controlling his temper lately and he is quick to show anger to mom and brother. I have been working on helping him learn the difference between anger and violence so that when he is angry, he does not become violent. His mom sees a marked improvement. View site »

Over the last two months, our local community has lost a Policeman and a Firefighter to sudden heart attacks. Both men were very loved and are profoundly missed. Both men were also very obese. Every year my mother and I collect new underwear, socks, hats, gloves, and scarves to take to the homeless shelters during the winter. #549 We hosted Soles4Souls representative Brian WIlliams of Think Kindness, visited 9 grade schools in the area, held a shoe drive in each school at our martial arts school, and at other area events and collected 2080 pairs of shoes which will be shpped to persons in need in the US and around the world.
