My Sister was dying of cancer . We scheduled ourselves so someone in the family was by her side in the hospital every minute. My “shift” was 5-11PM. Each night,my friend Candy appeared at 11. She drove an hour to the hospital just to walk with me to the car so I wouldn’t feel alone. An act of love
