BBC News America, Karen Armstrong on The Charter for Compassion
Many see compassion as the golden rule which forms the backbone of most major religions, but these days it sometimes seems in short supply. Karen Armstrong has launched the International Charter on Compassion - a document which strives to bring this rule back into practice. Matt Frei has spoke to her on November 12, 2009.
