Mind with Heart aims to create the conditions for young people develop a firm commitment to empathy, altruism, and compassion based on their own reasoning, experience, and initiative. Scientific research in neuroscience shows that our human brain can change as a result of experience, and that sustained training can develop new emotional and social skills. Scientific evidence now also shows that we can train in empathy, altruism, and compassion to reduce stress, promote emotional balance, and increase well-being.
