Boys & Girls Club of Bainbridge Island

Our Mission

To inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens

Local History

The Boys & Girls Club of Bainbridge Island is a dedicated youth service agency, serving young people ages 5 to 18. Our programs include after school drop-in activities, summer, winter and spring full day camps for Club Members. Participation in our programs requires only a Boys & Girls Club membership ($36), and minimal program fee for after school drop-in programs, day camps and early release days. The Club also offers volunteer and community service opportunities for youth and teens.

We received our official charter from Boys & Girls Clubs of America in 1999, and have grown to a membership of over 300 youth. After years in temporary locations, a capital campaign and collaborative arrangement with the Bainbridge Island Parks & Recreation District resulted in the construction of our first dedicated home at the Bainbridge Aquatics Center in October, 2002. We are guided by an Advisory Board of local citizens.

Location: Bainbridge Island, Washington, USA
