SCHOOL, Inc. brings secular yoga and meditation classes to underserved children in public schools. Within the classroom setting, we teach calming techniques, specific coordinated movements and positive affirmations that impart values and life skills for improved learning.
Yoga and meditation help us experience physical, mental and emotional balance by focusing on breath. Lungs refresh the heart and the heart refreshes the whole body. We follow current research that shows the brain is regulated by the heart. Our health and the ability to learn are increased by calm breathing for a calm heart.
