The CoED Foundation

The CoED Foundation

The CoED Foundation exists to bring compassion into everything we do in education and learning. This is achieved through book, article and think piece publications; the conceptual framework of which forms the bedrock of the courses, conferences and professional development we offer.

The CoED Foundation engineers innovative collaborative projects designed to enhance the processes, practices and products of the individuals, schools and parties involved. Schools, colleges and Universities as well as the varied organisations that support them are our prime audience. Those involved in health and social care will similarly find CoED's approaches and products of enormous value.

Our first and hopefully seminal book, Towards the Compassionate School: From Golden Rule to Golden Thread will be published in the UK and the USA in October 2015. The book aims to provide the rationale, strategies and good practice that will support schools in their journey toward compassion. Our aim is for education to change it’s present dominant paradigm from competition and selfishness to one based upon collaboration and service.
