Julia Jameson is from Las Vegas, Nevada and now lives in Santa Fé, New Mexico. She received her BA in Religious Studies from Bryn Mawr College and her MFA from the Leroy E. Hoffberger School of Painting. 

As a child, she spent much of her time running around the mountains collecting rocks. Nature has always inspired wonder within her. In her creative practice, she aims to convey the wonder that she feels while experiencing a breathtaking vista, a glistening crystal in the ground, or looking up at stars.

For her, these experiences open portals into the mystery of the human existence.
