It's All Part of the Journey

Here at the Charter for Compassion International, we are working to create a world:
- where compassionate action is first to arrive when anyone is suffering or in pain—in hamlets, villages, towns, suburbs, cities, and countries throughout the world
- where people of varied beliefs, lifestyles, languages, and cultures will truly listen, empathize, and reach out their hands to help one another in the spirit of compassion
- where all people work to resolve our differences without violence, where we protect the innocent and learn how to forgive the guilty, and where compassion is our energy source for creating a peaceful world
- where all people have compassion for the Earth and all life that exists on our beautiful planet
We know that many people across the world share both our sadness about the way things are and our vision for a better world. So we have created a Compassion Education Institute to educate and prepare those who understand the power of compassion to transform the inequities and the injustices of human civilization for their work to spread compassion and compassionate action throughout the world.
We’ve designed a program of online courses to help you define and determine how the concept of compassion can make a difference in your personal life, in your workplace, in your community, and beyond.
You can enroll now for any of these three new courses. Click here to read more detailed information about each course, the facilitator, schedule, and fee on our website. Testimonials from Emotional Intelligence and Compassion Course
[I] find it very helpful to take the historic long view. I have spent much of my life being "driven," anguished and ashamed of the way in which ordinary people are betrayed by those in so-called power, angry about the legacy of post colonialism and bewildered by the quantities of administerative red tape etc
I feel very grateful for Karen Armstrong's clear vision and bold call to arms...."that we should build a Global Community based on the Golden Rule"...and with enormous relief I feel that I have found a way forward which starts with setting myself right and becoming more emotionally intelligent. ~participant from Scotland
I can't recall a training where I was so involved and learned so much. ~David Earle, program supervisor for a recovery program, L.A., USA

Since the Charter was launched in 2009, we’ve understood more deeply that every resilient, innovative community, institution or partnership in the world is stitched together with the thread of compassion. In our dangerously polarised world, compassion is the only route to a safe, just, peaceful and viable world.
Your gift is essential to realizing the transformative potential of the Charter for Compassion. Thank you for your support of the Charter for Compassion and the important work that lies ahead.
Yours,
