The Acorn Community Arts Centre

The Acorn is a friendly community venue, much-loved and cherished by the people of Penzance and surrounding areas, hosting a wide variety theatre, comedy, dance, music, and artistic workshops. It offers workspace for community groups and private functions. Run mainly by volunteers, and very much at the heart of the community.

Our organisation currently delivers the main principles of the Charter, which are listed within our volunteer's policies and agreements - and believes in the Golden Rule, spreading goodwill and humility towards everyone who works in and visits the venue. This is key towards the many volunteers who sustain our organisation.
