Silicon Valley Interreligious Council

MISSION
Silicon Valley Interreligious Council (SiVIC) builds interreligious harmony and understanding so as to promote a just and compassionate society in Silicon Valley.
GOALS
SiVIC seeks to:
- Build relationships among religious communities
- Provide leadership and a voice for the interreligious community
- Encourage shared action and service
- Educate ourselves and our community about our religious diversity
- Provide a point of communication to and among religious groups
- Interface with interreligious organizations and other guiding institutions
- Be a resource for information and referral
- Document the interreligious life of Silicon Valley
- Work cooperatively with local, regional, national, and global interreligious organizations, including specifically functioning as a Partner City of the Parliament of the World’s Religions.

Congregations or nonprofit organizations that affirm the goals and values of SiVIC and participate by volunteer-ing and/or participating in SiVIC ac-tivities.

Community Affiliates:
Non- profit organizations with a community/religious/educational mission who affirm the goals and values of SiVIC and make a financial contribution.
Individual Affiliates:
Members of the community who affirm the goals and values of SiVIC and make a financial contribution.

Interreligious Leaders Forum
Periodic gatherings of religious leaders around topics of mutual in-terest.
Community Events
Community events celebrating the religious diversity of Silicon Valley.
Sustainable, Just and Healthy Food Campaign
Inviting congregations to be more aware and intentional about food choices.
Our Religious Neighbor Next Door: Photo Project
A collective snapshot of religious life in our community with contributions from many local congregations.
