Downtown Dubuque Christian Outreach

The purpose of the Downtown Dubuque Christian Outreach is to serve the spiritual and physical needs of those living in the heart of Dubuque, Iowa, the most racially, culturally, and financially diverse neighborhoods in the City. Through our Christian Outreach - to love our neighbors - we lead and nurture individuals, congregations, and our community to engage in more intentional, cooperative, and compassionate care of one another.

Our focused programming, such as providing meals and social gatherings, as well as the locations of our member congregations, are in these central, downtown neighborhoods. Through our consciousness raising campaigns, which have been supported by the local newspaper, the City of Dubuque Arts Council, and religious organizations, we have been able to encourage the entire community of Dubuque and the surrounding Tri-State area of Iowa, Wisconsin, and Illinois to exercise our roots of compassion.
