The Sharon Public Schools is a dynamic and respectful learning community that values diversity, fosters critical and creative thinking, challenges students to reach their academic potential, and prepares them to succeed in, and contribute to, a changing world.
At Sharon High School, we believe that the education of our students is a multifaceted partnership that spans many years, as well as a wealth of different intellectual and social experiences. To that end, our goal as an administration is to work in ongoing concert with all stakeholders to provide a safe, supportive, nurturing, and enriching educational and co-curricular program that places our students, as well as our faculty and staff, in a position to meet success, and to define that success in a personal, positive, and meaningful manner.
Guided by our schools mission and expectations for learning, as well as by the community’s core values, emphasis has been placed on the following principles:
- our understanding of innate mutual respect
- our ability to empower ourselves and those around us
- our commitment to achieve to our highest potential
- our willingness to create and to take advantage of the opportunities available to us
- our eagerness to honor our surroundings, as well as our past, present, and future world
The unconditional dedication of all stakeholders to these ideals is essential to the fulfillment of our goals, and the administrative team will strive to effectively and responsibly foster our attainment of them by welcoming input and advice, modeling and engaging in collaborative and transparent practices, communicating well, and learning from past experiences and challenges. In these ways, we will all surely see the success that we hope for and want, as well as for which we can all be very proud!
