Born in Baghdad, Iraq and living in Berlin, Germany, Maha Alusi is a phenomenal storyteller and creative. She studied at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London, but has lived in Berlin for the last 24 years. It was in that city that her creativity began to flourish.
A self-proclaimed ‘time specialist’, her first book “Moments of Happiness” is about how she transforms unhappy moments in her life to moments of happiness through six important stories from her life so far. Even though time may have been wasted in those experiences and endeavors, she always found a way to have a positive outcome. She is currently working on a second book.
Maha has given two TEDx Talks, one of which was titled "Moments of happiness and life visions" all about how to create happiness for yourself instead of waiting for it to come to you. She is the artist behind 'The Media Garden', a 30-meter installation of poetry in motion. A time machine created for the German Pavilion, Expo 2000, Hannover.
She has founded several companies and is now mentoring startups and is an International coach Federation certified coach working with managers and executives from several international companies.
