Intersections of Disability and Racism

    A panel of BIPOC with disabilities will discuss what it is like from their perspective accessing civic life as well as arts and culture. How does their race and disability along with other themes of intersectionality play a role in the challenges they experience? 

    Presenters: Christiana Obeysumner is a black and indigenous, queer, non-binary, and multiply disabled person. They are the CEO of Ephipanies of Equity, and Elizabeth Ralston is an accessibility consultant working at the intersection of public health and arts & culture to help organizations make their events, spaces, and programs accessible to all.
