Trauma Informed Leadership

For those of you who receive and read our newsletters, you know that we have a tremendous opportunity coming up with the offering of a 10-module course looking at collective trauma with Thomas Hübl, starting on May 24.

On Tuesday, 26 April - 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. PDT, Thomas Hübl will offer a free module looking at "Why Trauma Informed Leadership?" as a preview to the course.  This session will be exploring the nature of individual, ancestral and collective trauma, and demystifying "normal" aspects of our work and life that are actually trauma symptoms. It will include an overview of the full course and course objectives so that you can better decide if this course is right for you. Join us for this exciting opportunity!

How can we, as leaders, become focal points for relationality, coherence building and safety  in our spheres of influence as we engage in our work at this time? How can we help to build healing architectures, even when there is a war? At a time when many of us and communities around the planet are existentially challenged, we need cohesive social containers for our organizations to respond effectively and creatively.
Trauma-informed leadership helps us to wake up to the symptoms of individual, ancestral and collective trauma, and to move towards healing and restoration. Together, we move from traumatising to trauma-sensitive, trauma-informed and trauma-healing institutions and cultures. Our collective wounds need a collective body to heal.
The Pocket Project, in partnership with the Charter for Compassion, will deliver Trauma-Informed Leadership Course to fuel trauma-informed practice and help to integrate traumatic content through relational and systems sensing.

The Charter for Compassion has a bold, audacious vision of co-creating a world that works for everyone. Please support the Charter with a monthly contribution that helps to build this global compassionate community - person by person, school by school, and city by city. Thank you!
