Charter for Compassion News, Programs, and Webinars Click on the banner to register for this new webinar series and learn what some organizations are doing to address the housing and homeslessness crisis in their own communities. Webinar Series begins July 26. Support our Compassionate Network The Charter for Compassion operates much like the Internet – connecting terrific ideas with teams of people all around the world. The Charter connects people to people, cities to other cities, schools to each other, and programs to anyone searching for ways to build and strengthen our compassion muscles. This fluid and flexible Compassionate Network is used by tens of thousands of people every year. The hope of the Charter is to expand and strengthen this Compassionate Network until we reach a critical mass and achieve a tipping point so that compassion will be the default response of most people. Compassion will be part of most city initiatives, present in most board meetings, taught in most schools, and practiced by most businesses. That kind of tipping point is where we're heading. Please support the Charter with a monthly donation, much like the monthly subscription fee we all pay for Internet service. Help us boost our Compassionate Network. It is the most significant tool in our tool box for addressing the many crises in our world. Click/Tap here to Become a Monthly Donor Here! Thank you!

What is forgiveness? What enables people to forgive? Why do we even choose to forgive those who have harmed us? What can the latest psychological research tell us about the nature of forgiveness, its benefits and risks? This imaginative comic explores the key aspects of forgiveness, asking what it means to forgive and to be forgiven. Witty and intelligent, it answers questions about the health benefits and restorative potential of forgiveness and explains, in easy-to-understand terms, what happens in our brains, bodies and communities when we choose to forgive. Welcome Partner Session Has your organization joined the Charter this year? If so, you’re invited to this special Welcome Partner Session on Wednesday, August 10th at 3pm PDT. Click/tap Here for more information and Registration. We look forward to seeing you! ![]() On August 11 and 12, we are hosting two events (same event, offered twice) that we are calling Chai with the Charter. In the last six months, over 3,000 people have joined the Charter Family. We want to make sure everyone knows the why/how/what/when of the Charter and understands the value of the global Compassionate Network that we are all building together.
This is an informal gathering of people who want to learn more about the Charter for Compassion, our programs and events, etc. It is a friend-raiser and a fund-raiser. At the end, we hope you will give us feedback on how helpful the event was and how we might improve it.
Please bring your favorite cup of chai or coffee to this Zoom gathering with some Charter staff. We look forward to seeing you soon.
Thanks, Susan
