Participating Communities: San Nicolas, Nuevo Leon, Mexico

The State of Nuevo León is seeking to promote compassionate actions, weaving deeper ties between all sectors and thus building a society more just and sensitive to human suffering tirelessly looking for true peace. They are seeking to have Nuevo Leon declared a "State of Compassion" by the organization Charter for Compassion, thus becoming being the first State in Mexico. To this end, and others, Nuevo León is organizing a Seventh World Meeting of Values to Build A Compassionate World, beginning Oct. 25, 2015. 

The conference is scheduled in Monterrey, the capital and largest city of the northeastern state of Nuevo León.
