Woman Undiluted
Hello. I’m Tam.
I am 57, mother of three adult children, a transpersonal therapist, writer and group facilitator living in South West England. I have had my share of (ultimately empowering) challenges, including neurodiversity and mental health crises, and am currently learning to embrace the dubious title “Older Woman”- and make it wonderful!
In October 2016 I decided to take a year to address the things in my life that do not bring me joy. This sparked a profound journey. Since then I have written every day, tapping a vast, hidden store of memories, wounds and beautiful potential. My youngest child has flown the nest, I’ve settled in a vibrant city with my lovely husband, started a new business, become vegan, bought a mini-trampoline, given up driving, revitalised friendships, revisited significant places, decluttered my home, joined a political party, started painting, and practiced more compassion and forgiveness – especially towards myself.
My work with women from diverse backgrounds – always an honour and a joy – has taken on an extra glow in the light of this very personal development, and I’ve discovered once again that, when we share our lessons, strengths and vulnerabilities, we invite others to do the same, and magic happens!
This blog is a sharing of my lessons, strengths and vulnerabilities. I’d love to hear from anyone who’s touched by it.
