Interfaith Challenge!
Georgia State University is one of 300 campuses across the nation that has accepted the President’s Interfaith and Community Service Campus Challenge!
The Office of Civic Engagement at Georgia State is calling upon the student body, campus departments and Atlanta’s nonprofit leaders (both secular and faith based) to help us improve interfaith cooperation and work towards resolving our city’s social dilemmas.
Sure, we can’t solve every problem Atlanta faces. But we can make a dent where it counts, and help empower others to make a difference!
So, what are the issues?
We’re glad you asked! The OCE is working with secular, faith and service-based student organizations to address Human Trafficking, Domestic Poverty, Education Inequality, and Environmental Issues in our city.
Want to get involved? Join your fellow Panthers, the Office of Civic Engagement, and our community partners for coffee talks, service projects, and multimedia panel presentations throughout the semester. Event information is available on our homepage Events Calendar as well as the University Calendar.
