President of Nai-Qala Association Afghans taking responsibility: change through education.
Taiba is creative woman and teacher of Afghan origin, highly motivated by the improvement of social and human conditions, primarily those of my fellow citizens in Afghanistan. More broadly, she is committed to leading or taking part in activities or projects that make a difference for populations affected by conflict and by social or economic injustice.
Since 2007 she has been the President of the Nai-Qala Association and carried out 6 school and clinic construction projects in Afghanistan. I am very involved in education, health and women’s issues. She regularly writes and speaks about the importance of learning for the future of her country and about the situation of women. She holds a degree in Pedagogy from the University of Kabul and has worked for the International Committee of the Red Cross for several years in Afghanistan and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Her strengths lie in her energy, interpersonal skills and a passion for justice and equality.
She is married and the mother of three children.
