About the Author Andy Spragg
Andy is a UK Representative for the Charter for Compassion. He lives in Taunton, Somerset, UK and is the director of The Sangha House in Taunton, a Buddhist Based wellbeing centre. He has been a practicing Buddhist for 30 years, coming from The Theravada Buddhist tradition. He is also a Buddhist Chaplain for The UK National Health Service, Buddhist retreat leader, radio presenter for his show – The Meditation Show on Taunton’s local radio station ToneFM and a published author – The Magic of Noticing
As a Buddhist teacher he emphasizes the grounded, practical nature of Buddhist practice and shows how it is accessible to people from all walks of life and even all religions.

About the Facilitator Orlaith O'Sullivan, PhD
Orlaith O’Sullivan is a mindfulness educator, poet, and award-winning writer. She holds a PhD in Renaissance English literature and has taught widely, from Beowulf to feminist science fiction.
On the mindfulness and SEL side, Orlaith O’Sullivan teaches mindfulness, character strengths and the habits of happiness. She works internationally on several innovative research projects, consulting with Harvard School for Public Health and Dartmouth University. Her work in youth wellbeing is currently being trialled in India, Nairobi, Sweden and South Africa. She is a founding member of the Community of Contemplative Education, Mind & Life Europe’s group to cultivate human flourishing through education. For five years, O’Sullivan was the International Coordinator of Wake Up Schools, the award-winning grassroots organization for mindfulness in education.
She lives in Dublin, Ireland.
