I’m not interested in people fighting
over tribalism,
I’m interested in people
solving issues.
When I was young
I moved, one place to another
because of war problems,
my dad always wanted me
to be safe, he wanted
the best for me.
Born in a war zone,
Somalia,
father was gone,
family was crying,
people were dying.
Each time my father
saw a family member get killed
it hurt his heart
to see this violence.
My father decided
to get me out of Africa
he sent me to Pakistan
and he always told me,
people might take things
from you, but they can never take
your knowledge.
