Kate Trnka Trees
Kate Trnka is a writer, educator, small business owner and founder of The Sacred Earth Institute – a place that leads individual in returning to their well-being by reconnecting with the natural world. Kate has served as the Lead for the Environment Sector of the Charter for Compassion from 2017-2022 and served as the Charter’s Global Read Coordinator for 3 years.
She is now working to expand participation in the Charter’s Compassion Tree Project - locally and globally as well as serving in leadership roles on various committees locally in the Fox Cities Communities in Wisconsin.
She is the author of many poems and has published the book, If These Trees Could Talk, Park 1: Stories from the Trees of Sunset Park and is working on the second book in the series. She is nearing the completion of her Doctorate in Ecopsychology and is excited about her newest publication, Our Sense-Able Nature: Mindful Re-Connecting with Nature Activity Cards.
