Charter's Jordan Partners Ask for Involvement

We trust this message finds you in good health.

We are reaching out to bring your attention to the urgent humanitarian crisis in Gaza.  This is an unprecedented catastrophe whereby recent increase in human casualties has become both heartbreaking and unbearable.  It challenges our understanding of “common humanity”.

On the ground, doctors, and journalists have painted a vivid picture of the dire circumstances, even the United Nations Secretary-General has described Gaza as a  "graveyard for children" underscoring the gravity of the situation. A newly coined acronym specific to Gaza, "WCNSF," symbolizing "Wounded Child, No Surviving Family" has  sadly become all too common in recent weeks.

In the face of this heartbreaking crisis, we implore you to join your voices to ours and become ambassadors of true peace by creating a brief 30-second selfie video. The clip should convey compassionate and supportive messages for those affected by war and those who are suffering. These messages can inspire resilience, promote healing, and reinforce the human connection that transcends borders and conflicts.  In case you decide to participate, your video should start out by introducing yourself, mention your place of origin, and, if you wish, your organizational affiliation, all in landscape mode. Kindly send all video recordings via WhatsApp to +962791417494 or +962795564460 by November 20th, 2023.

Your words of encouragement and support will be shared with our community, which is currently grappling with fear, anger, and a wide range of confused emotions. Your contribution, whether it involves raising awareness, lending your voice to the cause of peace, or taking any form of action, will undoubtedly make a meaningful difference in this critical humanitarian endeavor. Together, we can work towards a more peaceful and compassionate world where human dignity is upheld.

With heartfelt gratitude and respect,
