The Active Kids Art Group is a project founded by Soran Hamad in Sulaimaniya, Iraq, located in part of Kurdistan. The village is adjacent to a refugee center that houses people from Syria. The teenage children in the Active Art Group create drawings and paintings that are exhibited and sold to help raise money to help support children in the refugee camp. Active Art Group is looking to exhibit and sale their art work beyond Iraq.
