Battle Balm is a brand that on the surface is brash, bold, and unrelenting. As a manufacturer of a premium over-the-counter topical pain relief balm, we began our business journey aimed directly at combat sports and MMA. At first glance, one may presume that our brand is for those that would rather punch someone than empathize with them. The word “Battle” in our name alone conjures up an image of conflict and fight.
But we have a deeper side. As yin must also balance the yang, our core business is in helping people, not hurting them. Battle Balm was spawned out of an acupuncture and massage clinic focused on finding ways to naturally treat people suffering from pain.
We are a group of caring, empathic, and connected alternative medical practitioners who understand that pain always carries both physical and emotional components.
Our business model centers on compassion. It is the polar opposite of how most other businesses are currently being run. A compassionate business turns the system on it’s head. It is people-centered, rather than numbers-centered. It values the customers more than the profit margins.
