Ethicist Thomas Hughart is a member of the Bioethics Institute at New York Medical College, Valhalla, New York, affiliated with Touro College and University System. He serves on the Ethics Committee at Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla; New York and the Ethics Committee at Norwalk Hospital, Norwalk, Connecticut.
