Mandala Earth Story is a travelling community art project inspired by the earth wisdom of communities through their indigenous/spiritual knowledge, systems, and practices. A Mandala, or sacred circle in Sanskrit, is a guide for story - based intergenerational circle gatherings and ritual spaces that aim to tap existing capacities and resources to address ecological, social, and/or political concerns. Through shared earth stories, the project creates spaces where earth wisdom is remembered, explored, translated, and most importantly applied to some of the pressing issues humanity and earth faces today. In the end, transformational community actions are co-designed together using integral, innovative, and whole system designs.
