The mission of the Shakyamuni Study Group is to promote the study of Buddhism.

Description

The Shakyamuni Study Group of Tibetan Buddhism was founded in 2011 in Messina ,Italy and its name was given by the Venerable Lama Zopa Rinpoche on November 28, 2012. The meetings are communicated from time to time as well as organized events. The study group wishes to promote issues that relate to his Tibetan Buddhism in general and in particular with the group's activities in the city of Messina. The group "Shakyamuni" officially became part of the organization Internazione FPMT (www.fpmt.org) as a study group in the country.
