A Nonprofit, Supported By Our Readers
Because YES! Magazine is ad-free, we fill each page with inspiring news, striking images, and powerful quotes.
Most magazines make their money from advertising. But we don’t want advertisers to influence the content of YES! Magazine. That’s why we’re ad-free.
Because money from subscriptions covers just one third of our costs, we rely on tax-deductible donations from our readers and from foundation grants. Donations also fund outreach to teachers, journalists, grassroots organizations, faith groups, and policy-makers. They leverage the ideas in YES! to inspire deep shifts at every level of society.
Who We Are
Our board members span the country and bring diverse backgrounds and much wisdom to their advisory role. The YES! staff work on Bainbridge Island, Washington, with the help of energetic interns and enthusiastic volunteers who work in an office that emphasizes collaboration and creativity. We are also grateful to our contributing editors for their advice and for writing regularly for the magazine.
