Music has been an integral part of every culture throughout history, reflecting the unique characteristics and traditions of different societies. From the rhythmic beats of African drums to the intricate melodies of Indian ragas, music provides insight into the lives, histories, and identities of people around the world. By studying various musical traditions, we gain a deeper appreciation for the diversity and richness of global cultures.

Course Objectives

In "Harmony of Humanity," you will:

• Develop a deeper appreciation for the diversity of human experiences.
   
• Create and participate in musical activities that foster community and empathy.

Cost

This course is offered to the Charter for Compassion community gratis. However, please consider making a donation of at least $1 per session or the cost of a cup of coffee, chai or tea per session.  While we want you all to participate, as a non profit we do rely on donations for our operating budget.  By registering for the course you will receive an invitation to join the Charter's Sutra platform where by you will have access to two programs of music that preceided this offering complete with mp4s of 24 previous programs.
