About the Facilitator and Illustrator of the books
Karen Light has a personal mission of awakening creative power. Through her two companies, Studio Light Illustration and HowDoodle, she serves her mission as an Illustrator/Artist and Creative Executive Function Coach. Karen has co-created over 30 books and counting with self-publishing authors. She believes in the power of storytelling to connect us as humans, forge understanding, evoke empathy, and challenge us to think of ways to create a world in which all living creatures can thrive!
Karen’s toolbox has been honed from being a working artist, over two decades of teaching, mentoring, and coaching, studying community arts, and her work in social justice. She has a BFA from Xavier University and an MA in Cultural Management from City University London.
