Teresa Schreiber Werth is a retired communications professional, published author, speaker, certified funeral and wedding celebrant and artist. Over the years, she has exhibited and sold her work in juried shows in NY, FL and NC.
She was the creative partner in Two Grannies Jewelry, where she created the Woman Rising Collection and wood & seashell nativities. She was a participating artist for five years in The Rare Chair Affair and Artrageous fundraisers (Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester), an exhibiting member of View Art Center (Old Forge, NY); exhibiting member of Rochester Contemporary Art Center’s (Rochester, NY) 6 X 6 Annual Show and 2021 Member Show.
Her latest focus is on creating art work using natural elements she has collected including: tree bark, burnt wood, dried catalpa pods, dried lotus pods, driftwood, acorns, peony seed pods, mesquite pods, shells and shell fragments and other natural materials. The theme of these pieces relates to the idea that the ROOT of all growing things contains limitless potential, to be recognized, honored and celebrated.
