The Spirit of Ubuntu

The Spirit Of Ubuntu documentary is an award winning film that has received accolades from film festivals all over the world. Filmed in 10 countries across the continent of Africa you will be captivated by breathtaking visuals and heartfelt narratives that showcase the beauty of human connection and the transformative power of togetherness.

The Spirit of Ubuntu is directed by Kudzai Tiago, renowned for his innovative storytelling and stunning cinematography. The film features Grammy-nominated reggae legend Pato Banton and world-renowned keyboard player Antoinette Rootsdawtah. Together, they embark on a journey  exploring the ancient philosophy of Ubuntu. Rooted in the Bantu dialect, Ubuntu embodies the profound notion that "I AM because We ARE."

The documentary focuses on some of the most dynamic and visionary leaders across Africa who practice the teachings of Ubuntu in their daily work to improve the lives of the people in their regional communities.

 

The DVD contains three films:
