About the Author Livia Malcangio

Livia Malcangio is an Italian author, a philanthropist, and a human rights activist, who has dedicated herself to championing causes that promote peace, human dignity, sustainable development, and social justice.

With 25 years of experience, she has served the Permanent Secretariat of the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates for the organisation's annual Nobel Peace Summit.

As an author, she has penned the educational book Being Nobel published by Planeta, book PAZ published by Historias Para Todos, and Being Nobel for Kids Who Dream Big, all distributed to hundreds of students globally. 

 

Facilitator Joy Ngoma

Joy Ngoma is a peacebuilding practitioner, media professional, and human rights advocate working at the intersection of storytelling, youth engagement, and social change. Her work spans radio, film, television, and digital media, using narrative as a tool to foster dialogue, healing, and transformation across communities.

She has contributed to leading media and cultural institutions, including Takalani Sesame, Huffington Post, and the Gauteng Film Commission, developing a practice rooted in human-centered storytelling and ethical media production. Her work extends into global advocacy and consulting, where she supports organizations in integrating storytelling and youth leadership into peacebuilding and human rights initiatives.

She is currently pursuing a Master’s in International Peace Studies, specializing in Media, Peace, and Conflict Studies, and is actively engaged in initiatives that encourage young people to become storytellers, bridge-builders, and agents of change in their communities.
