Addressing rising challenges faced by the LGBTQIA+ community, Charter for Compassion partner organization Rainbow Advocacy is launching Voices of Solidarity, a global collaborative arts, social justice, and educational program highlighting marginalized voices and creative media advocacy.
The Voices of Solidarity 2025 Global Gatherings is a series of three virtual live events and community networking programs throughout Pride Month focused on arts and advocacy, featuring online community gathering spaces and networking, short films, music, artwork, poetry, literature, digital media, performances, panel discussions, and community activism around the world.
Filmmakers, musicians, artists, writers, performers, digital creators, activists, and advocates will present short films, new music, a wide range of art, literature, and innovative community resilience and empowerment efforts. Community networking features and meeting spaces provide opportunities for building new relationships, creating alliances, and instilling inspiration, transcending borders.
The WorldPride Gathering (June 1-9) is an official partner event with WorldPride 2025 being held in Washington, DC, followed by the EuroPride Gathering to coincide with EuroPride events in Lisbon, Portugal (June 14-21), and concluding with a youth-focused gathering (June 22-30) featuring new initiatives, including Youth Media Challenges in collaboration with San Francisco-based KQED and other organizations.
