Hip-Hop Artist, Humanitarian, and Messenger of Love

Nimo Patel is a globally recognized musician and humanitarian whose life’s work bridges art, service, and compassion. A Stanford University graduate and former Wall Street investment banker, Nimo left a conventional career to follow his deeper calling: to serve humanity through music and grassroots community work.

As the frontman of the hip-hop group Karmacy, Nimo found early success, touring internationally and gaining recognition in the South Asian diaspora music scene. Yet he felt a need to bring music closer to the spirit of service. This led him back to his ancestral roots in India, where he joined the Gandhi Ashram in Ahmedabad. There, he committed to a life of simplicity and selfless service, working with underprivileged children through education and creative expression.

Out of this journey, Nimo launched Empty Hands Music, a project dedicated to spreading love, gratitude, and service through songs and performances offered as “gifts” to the world. His music—including tracks such as Grateful, Being Kind, and Planting Seeds—has touched millions across the globe, inspiring communities, schools, and movements toward compassion and social change.

Through his artistry, Nimo blends hip-hop rhythms with messages of hope, unity, and humanity, performing everywhere from small classrooms to global stages such as the United Nations and international peace gatherings. His mission is simple yet profound: to use music as medicine for the soul and as a call to compassionate action.
