Yael Deckelbaum is a platinum-selling Israeli–Canadian singer, songwriter, and steadfast advocate for peace and female leadership. As a founding member of the acclaimed folk trio Habanot Nechama, her debut album went platinum with over 40,000 copies sold in Israel. An award-winning solo artist, she penned the globally resonant anthem “Prayer of the Mothers”, which became a defining song of the Women Wage Peace movement and an international call for solidarity.
