* * *
Rooted in the Buddhist tradition and inspired by the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh, this gathering invites participants into a Sangha—a spiritual community of practice where presence, compassion, and understanding are cultivated together.
A Sangha is more than a meeting; it is a shared field of mindfulness, a circle of care where individuals come together to slow down, breathe, and listen deeply—to themselves and to one another. In this gentle and welcoming space, we practice being fully present in one harmonious place, allowing calm and clarity to arise naturally.
Guided by Merida McCarthy, this session will include shared mindfulness practice, loving and respectful speech, and a Dharma-inspired reflection and discussion, offering space for participants to share insights from their own lived experience. Rather than debate or instruction, the emphasis is on deep listening, mutual respect, and the joyful weaving together of wisdom that emerges from collective reflection.
This Sangha is open to all—whether you are familiar with Buddhist practice or simply seeking a quiet, compassionate space to reflect and reconnect. Together, we awaken the heart by remembering that peace is nurtured in community, and that mindful presence—when shared—has the power to heal, connect, and transform.
