Issac S. Thomas, hailing from Kerala, India, stands as a beacon of youthful leadership. His journey with the United Religions Initiative (URI) commenced at a tender age of 13, igniting his passion for nurturing the potential within the youth. Pioneering the realm of young leaders' training programs, he swiftly ascended to the esteemed position of Youth Ambassador for the region. In 2017, he laid the cornerstone of the Global Youth Movement Cooperation Circle, further amplifying his impact within the URI community. 

Under his compassionate stewardship, a cadre of young individuals flourished, fostering an environment conducive to interfaith harmony, intercultural exchange, and intergenerational understanding. Addressing multifaceted issues ranging from conflict resolution to environmental stewardship, Mr. Thomas's leadership ethos underscores a commitment to empowering women, nurturing youth, and advocating for human rights. 

His endeavours extend beyond the confines of URI, as evidenced by his pivotal role in initiatives such as the One Billion Youth for Peace movement spearheaded by the Cosmic Community Center. Additionally, he remains deeply engaged in the Youth Ministry of the Malankara Mar Thoma Syrian Church and contributes actively to the Voices for a World Free of Nuclear Weapons Youth group. He was a participant & presenter at many international events like the UN Youth Day Celebration, Parliament of the World Religions, Global Citizenship Symposium, UN Conference of Parties etc. 

Recognized for his unwavering dedication, Mr. Thomas assumes a pivotal role as one of the Multiregion Trustees on the Global Council of URI. Elected to this esteemed position in 2020, he etched his name in history as the youngest Trustee at the age of 23. Presently, he extends his leadership prowess as a member of the URI Executive Committee and serves as the Global Council Secretary. 

Despite his illustrious achievements, Mr. Thomas remains grounded in his academic pursuits, holding a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering. As a Network Engineer based in Doha, Qatar, he seamlessly integrates his professional endeavours with his passion for humanitarian causes & peace building, embodying the essence of a true Global Citizen.
