Rainbow Primary School

On the 24th of January 1994, Rainbow Primary School opened its doors for the first intake of 128 pupils in Reception to Standard 3. There were 6 teachers and a Headmaster.
Over the years Rainbow Primary has grown to above 700 pupils from Pre-school [three year olds]up to Standard 7 and there are now more than 50 academic staff members.
Besides each class having their own homeroom, we have specialist classrooms for Languages [French and Setswana] Music [Singing and marimbas], Art, Computers, Library, Religious and Moral Education, Design and Technology and we have two full-time Learning Support and Guidance Teachers. Our sporting facilities include Tennis courts, Netball courts, Soccer / Cricket fields and 3 swimming pools.
Our school curriculum aims to provide pupils with an international standard of education. The programme considers each child a unique individual who grows and develops socially, emotionally, physically, intellectually and spiritually. We base our system on the Botswana Curriculum and write the PSLE. [Primary School Leaving Exam] set by Botswana Examinations Council.
