Rotary is always looking to join forces to carry out major projects, whether neighborhood associations working with local clubs, whether international institutions themselves, since they are convinced that together we can achieve much more.
We intend to expand our work and make it more effective and we work in concert with different types of organizations, from local food banks to the United Nations. If you work with an institution that wants to partner with Rotary, contact us.
Rotary subscribes alliances with organizations with common goals and not-for-profit and local agencies of the United Nations, who enhance our work and expand our chances of success.
Rotary works with international governmental and university organizations to address global humanitarian issues.
Polio: Rotary is one of the major players in the Global Initiative for the Eradication of Polio with the World Health Organization, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, UNICEF and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
Peace and Conflict Resolution: The program of Rotary Peace Centers form leaders who are catalysts for peace and conflict resolution at the local and global levels. The Rotary Peace Fellows are studying master or diploma in one of our partner universities:
- Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand
- Duke University and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, USA
- International Christian University, Tokyo, Japan
- University of Bradford, West Yorkshire, England
- University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia
- Uppsala University, Sweden
Water and sanitation: Rotary and the US Agency for International Development (USAID) are working together on projects of water supply and sanitation through the RI / USAID International H2O Collaboration initiative.

- The UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education provides grants related to water and sanitation

Rotary appoints representatives each year before the UN agencies and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) around the world. These representatives meet regularly with officials and staff of international organizations to:
- Study common problems and possible areas of cooperation
- Inform organizations about Rotary's programs
- Compile information on the activities and programs of other groups
