Compassionate Training for Caregivers and Children - Two offerings, either Tuesdays or Thursdays, ongoing through April 2020
Like many families right now, we are trying to balance our jobs (which may have changed in a significant manner the past couple weeks) and educating our children at home. These are not easy tasks individually, so when you put them together, things may feel pretty stressful.
Once a week, for 30-45 minutes, we will come together via zoom and share some information as well as some tools to help children (and adults!) cope with some of the big thoughts, feelings, and emotions they may be experiencing.
The program utilizes information and skills from Compassionate Integrity Training (CIT) and SEE Learning, as well as decades of parenting experience.

Global Read: From Hero to Healer - May 4, 2017
Marilyn Turkovich of the Charter for Compassion hosts this call with author Robin Youngson. Here's the question: Why are we not making more progress on social and environmental issues? Instead, we are witnessing more poverty, more inequality, more chronic disease, more social breakdown, worsening pollution, and a growing climate crisis. Could it be that the strategies we employ as activists are actually sustaining the problems we’re trying to address?
With touching honesty and humility, Youngson shares the five biggest mistakes he made in a decade of campaigning, and how his counter-intuitive new strategies led to international success.
