The Truth Will Stand – Even When the World’s on Fire

A little tee growing from a chopped trunk with the title: The Truth Will Stand – Even When the World’s on Fire

Join Us May 14–15 for the Charter’s First-Ever Virtual Compassionate Action Conference

Dear Friends,

There’s a powerful Appalachian proverb that says:
"The truth will stand when the world’s on fire."

Right now, it feels like we are standing on that very precipice. The world is aching—with fear, confusion, and uncertainty. But here’s the truth we know: across every continent, millions of people are rising up with courage, compassion, and love.

From small acts of kindness to global movements for justice, from youth changemakers to wisdom-filled elders, we are seeing a world that is not only surviving—but transforming. And now, it’s time to come together, to learn, celebrate, and amplify the power of compassion in action.

On May 14–15, we invite you to the Charter for Compassion’s first-ever Virtual Action Conference, featuring powerful voices and real-world solutions from around the globe:

Jennifer Nadel, UK journalist and author, will share hard truths and hopeful visions about compassion in politics—and why world leaders must embrace it now.

Diane Kalen-Sukra, award-winning political strategist, will unveil her dynamic “Save Our City” model for communities in crisis.

Hear stories of compassion in action from South Africa to Canada, Mexico to India—and so many places in between.

This isn’t just a conference—it’s a movement space.
You’ll engage in live sessions, private conversation rooms, interactive meetups, networking and there will be immediate access to recordings of every session (available for several months afterward).

Our mission is clear: to offer hope, to share practical solutions, and to remind the world that compassion, when put into action, is unstoppable.

We need your voice. We need your energy. We need your commitment and willingness to bring others to the conference.

If you can’t donate, donate your time and your presence.
If you're part of an organization, promote the conference—on your website, in your newsletters, and across your networks.

Become a monetary or in-kind sponsor—we’ll proudly showcase your logo

This is more than an invitation.
It’s a prescription for these times.
Join us—and help light the way.
