As part of its commitment to learning, dialogue, and cultural transformation, the Charter for Compassion is proud to present With Compassion, a global podcast series that brings together visionary voices from around the world to explore how compassion can serve as both a moral compass and a catalyst for transformational change.
With Compassion premiered on November 19, 2025, as part of the soft launch of the Compassion Transformation Institute—the Charter’s new educational and cultural hub designed to support the next generation of compassion leaders, educators, artists, and changemakers. The podcast extends the Institute’s mission by creating an accessible space for thoughtful conversation, deep listening, and shared reflection across difference.
Hosted by Jennifer Nadel—co-founder of Compassion in Politics, journalist, lawyer, and lifelong advocate for justice—the series features active, challenging, and deeply engaged conversations that reimagine how compassion can reshape our systems, our stories, and our shared future. Each episode invites listeners to consider compassion not as a passive sentiment, but as a practical and courageous force capable of addressing today’s most urgent social, political, and ethical challenges.
“Compassion isn’t a soft ideal—it’s a radical, practical force for justice and healing,” says Nadel. “We’ll explore what happens when we stop treating compassion as optional and start treating it as essential—politically, socially, and personally.”
The podcast reflects core themes of Charter for Compassion 2.0, including:
- From inner healing to planetary flourishing
- From domination to partnership
- From division to Beloved Community
Each episode features global thinkers, artists, educators, and activists whose lived experience and work illuminate how compassion can be embedded in leadership, policy, culture, and community life.
“Jennifer brings both moral clarity and intellectual courage to these conversations,” says Marilyn Turkovich, Executive Director of the Charter for Compassion. “She understands that compassion is not sentimental—it’s structural. Through With Compassion, we’re offering a platform for dialogue that awakens responsibility, restores imagination, and rebuilds trust in our shared humanity.”
To deepen engagement, the Charter will publish a companion article for each guest, offering additional context about their work and perspective, along with a direct link to each podcast episode. Together, the conversations and articles form a growing archive of insight, inspiration, and practical wisdom—supporting the Compassion Transformation Institute’s goal of translating compassion into understanding, practice, and action.
